In
order for the PTA to pay for all the fun events that we organize we need
to raise the funds. At the beginning
of each school year we have two major fundraisers –
Cookie Dough and Holiday Gifts.
Please remember that we generally will make about 40% profit on these
so buy plenty!
Oakland A’s Tickets
– this is a new program to our school. The A’s are giving $10 back for every $26 field level
ticket sold and $6 back for every $16 plaza level ticket sold through the school.
Orders forms will be sent home or are available through the school office. Tickets
sold through to March 25th.
Walkathon
– another new fundraiser to the school. The students will be encouraged to gain pledges
for the amount of laps walked. This will be in April and we are hoping to raise at least
$7500. Please give generously when your child asks you for pledges.
The
following programs will cost you nothing to participate in and require a
one off registration. They are year
round programs so please keep them in mind at all times.

Safeway
club card:
Register
your grocery card with escrip and Safeway will
give a percentage of your purchases to us.
Our school group ID number is 3772845.
This will need to be renewed each year at no cost.

Escrip:
Register your grocery loyalty cards and visa debit/credit cards with
escrip either below, online at
www.escrip.com
or by telephoning 1800-559-8917 and participating merchants will
donate up to 8% of your purchases.

Albertsons
Community Partners/Preferred savings card:
This is the most effortless was to raise funds for the school.
If you register your preferred savings card just once at
www.albertsons.com with our school
as the beneficiary, up to 4% of all your eligible purchases will be given
to the school. We raised almost $1500
last year. Our school ID number is 49000116508.
BOX TOPS
:
Box tops are to be found on cereal boxes, yoghurts, baking goods and many more. They
will earn the school 10c each. BUT HOLD ON TO THEM FOR NOW. We will have up
to 3 carnivals throughout the year where the children can bring in clipped box tops and play a
game at the BOX TOPS CARNIVALS. Prizes will be at every game.
This earned the school almost $500 last year.

Our school will earn 1% for all purchases made with this card.

visa card:
This card will earn our school 2%.
Scrip:
This is a way of buying gift cards at the normal face value but the school
will receive up to 10% of their value.
These need to be ordered through the school and you will receive
an order form towards the end of the year.
Cards can be bought that can be used in multiple stores and the gas
cards are also very useful. Everyone
buys gas so why not get a scrip gas card and let the school have 4% of its
value but with no cost to you.
