Welcome Message

We are getting closer to the start of the school year.   With this I would like to invite you to join the PTA.   The PTA works hard all year long hand in hand with the school staff to give the students an exciting and fun packed year.   We are always open to new ideas.   We would really enjoy meeting more parents and having some more volunteers.   The more people that volunteer the more we can do for the children.   Come and meet the PTA at our monthly meetings which are open to everyone, there is babysitting available.   The meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 6.30pm in the multi purpose room at the Treeview Campus. We would like to hear from anyone with new ideas for fun activities or fundraising events.   Even if you can’t attend the meetings we would like to encourage you to volunteer at any of the events or just general help.   Please give your details to the school office.

The PTA doesn’t just do fundraising as many people think.   We try to give the students 3 fun activities for every fundraiser.   It is unfortunate that the fundraising happens at the very beginning of the year but this is so that we can pay for the events through the year and work towards our goals.   If you have other ideas of how to raise funds we would love to hear about them.   All of the funds go back in to the school paying for child safety programs, necessary classroom items, assemblies, awards and many other fun activities.

This year we have lost some valuable members of the PTA and we would like to give them a big thank you for all of the hard work they did for so long.

Come and join, make some friends and see how much we can achieve.

When: 1^st Wednesday of every month

Where: Multi purpose room, Treeview campus.

Time: 6.30pm

There will be guest speakers at some of the meetings through the year.   Come and listen, there is no commitment.
